A few years ago we decided to leave our native soil in Venlo, The Netherlands and fulfil our wish to live in the South-West of France, in the Charente Maritime, to be precise.
We found ourselves an existing business that we named ‘Domaine la Fontaine’, after the very old well (la Fontaine) that is just outside our property.
Here we offer five fully renovated guestrooms (B&B), each with their own bathroom (1 with bath), three comfortable, fully equipped gîtes (one for up to 5 people) and one 2-pers studio.
At the edge of a small village in a peaceful area, there's the (heated) swimming pool terrace with an impressive view over a large valley, where one can enjoy the things that make life worthwhile.
A few times a week we'll offer dinner at our table and you will be invited to join. Accompanied by a good glass of wine, obviously.
We welcome our guests all year round. We speak your language.
